We analyse only content that anyone can see in public. We never access private accounts or messages.

Who we are

Benchmark Socials is a sole proprietorship based in Pune, India. We run benchmarksocials.com, a tool for comparing and monitoring social media accounts. Contact: contactbenchmarksocials@gmail.com.

What we analyse

Only publicly available content: posts, captions, likes, views, public comments, public reviews (for example on Google, app stores and review sites) and public workplace reviews. In other words, what anyone can see without logging in to that account. We never access private accounts, private messages, passwords or anything behind someone else's login.

Names in public content

Public posts and comments carry usernames. When we show comments in a report we replace the names of people mentioned with their role, and Workplace Pulse reports counts only, never a person's name.

What we hold about you

Only what you give us to use the service: your name, email address and a password, which is stored scrambled (hashed) and cannot be read by anyone, including us. We also keep a record of the scans you run and their reports.

How long we keep it

Reports are deleted automatically 3 days after the scan. Your account details are kept while your account exists. Email us and we will delete your account and its data.

Who processes data for us

We use trusted providers to run the service: a cloud server host, a database host, data-collection services that read public web pages, and an AI service that helps write the analysis. They process data only to deliver the service to you.

We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics only if you accept it in our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you at any time by emailing contactbenchmarksocials@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.

Changes

We are in a demo phase and this policy will change as the service grows. The date at the top shows the latest version.
